I’ve been thinking of a way to explain to straight white men how life works for them, without invoking the dreaded word “privilege,” to which they react like vampires being fed a garlic tart at high noon.
This is indeed a good article. The comments… not so mature, but mostly OK.
I went to the cinema with my friends to watch Dark Shadows, then I saw this:
And I thought: “He looks like a very young Sherlock, rich but unhappy in his parents manor”.
I was starting to worry about my obsession over Sherlock (“What? Am I so obsessed that I think of it even when I am watching other films?”), then my boyfriend turned around and said: “He looks like a young Benedict Cumberbatch”.
Looks like I am not the only one being obsessed. Also, kind of amusing that I thought “Sherlock” and my boyfriend said “Benedict Cumberbatch”.
